A pinned thread for small questions that don't require a whole thread to discuss

Seems a little silly to be making a whole new thread for the very basic questions. Not sure where you'd put it, maybe in the novice section, or the tackle section. Might help keep things tidier too. Though to play Devil's advocate for my own suggestion, I could see with less activity on the forum in general, it could create a bit of a dead zone here.
