Delkims work lovely with drop offs, as they work on vibrations you will never have the problem with like skipping over a wheel when fish bail arms open
You could be just 1 cast away from a fish of your dreams

As above

I've had my Delkims for over 10 years. Faultless performance and have never let me done

Won't be disappointed

Any Delkim is better than most alternatives. All Delks have the same operating mechanism, the differences being the amount of features such as sensitivity adjustment ranges, remote compatibility etc.
Depends on your budget.

What's wrong with carp?
I fish for pike, both bank and boat. I also fish for carp along with other species, in fact I'm over from Ireland on the ferry on Monday for a week's carp fishing as carp are scarce in Ireland.
Any alarm will work for both species plus others. If your budget can stretch from mid range to upper end, then you will find that Delkims are the most often recommended alarm on this (pike) forum.

Delkims - end of. I've used them for all my pike fishing (various models up to current TXI versions) for 35 years - never once have any let me down. I also use them for carp fishing :laughs:

I've got Delkims and Billy backbiters, I used my delkims all of last season. The sensitivity is great but those annoying random beps of liners, wind, rain, undertow, weed, are really annoying.
Maybe I need to perfect the sensitivity, but I think that defeats the object.

Billys for me, when they sound it's a run.

The only time delkims can be a problem is if it hails. Continually beeping.

Delkim TXI , they are the best . Don’t even consider anything else . Get a remote too and you’ll never regret it .
eBay is the place as the carp anglers are moving towards the new Delkims . Bargains galore !
