I've never seen it before either. I have seen a wood pigeon snoozing on my back lawn once. Which was also strange.

I've never seen it before either. I have seen a wood pigeon snoozing on my back lawn once. Which was also strange.
I came across a pigeon sleeping in thick grass a few weeks ago, while walking my dog. My first thought was that it was dead - until it launched itself like a rocket!

My dog was just about to give it a sniff and he almost took off as well! :laughs:
"He's some sort of lure savant. Or just has an unhealthy addiction to old lures. We are not quite sure . . . . . "
